More trees for us… and for the planet too, right? 🌱
I’ve written many times about how much I dream of our Aegina home being surrounded by green, peaceful little paradises — places to breathe, slow down, and truly relax. But beyond the personal dream, there’s also something bigger to think about: our responsibility to the planet.
Planting trees isn’t just about beauty. It’s about giving back, even in a small way. Shade, oxygen, life — all starting from something as simple as putting a tree in the ground and allowing it the time it needs to grow.
Of course, creating a lush, green and calming environment doesn’t happen overnight. It will take years and years before this space becomes the fully grown, leafy sanctuary I imagine. And that’s okay. Nature has its own rhythm, and it teaches us patience.
What matters most is remembering that every beginning counts. After all, the beginning is half of the whole. Each tree planted today is a promise for tomorrow — for us, for the house, and for the planet we share.
Slowly, gently, and with care, the green paradise will come 🌿🏡
