And so the fun begins…

Imagine this: you have absolutely zero clue about how to build a house, yet you want a fully functional, cozy home for your family—like, now. Sounds like a joke, right? Well, it kind of was… but also, it wasn’t.

Back then, my desire to own a home—my first ever—was so strong that I skipped the reality check (again šŸ˜…). I dove headfirst into the unknown, driven by pure passion and a vision of a peaceful life on the beautiful island of Aegina.

I started researching everything: how to build a house, where to find reliable workers, what architects recommend, and I asked everyone I knew for advice. It took months of meetings, endless agendas, and countless validations of every possible option. But finally, I made my decision.

It would be a prefabricated house.

Yes, in Greece. Against all odds and conventions, I chose the prefab route—and I loved it. I placed the order, and in just six months, my house would be delivered to my land in Aegina.

But there was one tiny detail…

My budget was already at zero.

So, I began another marathon: meetings with banks, loan applications, financial planning—all to make my DreamHouse a reality.

This house isn’t just a structure—it’s a symbol of determination, creativity, and the belief that dreams can come true, even when the odds are stacked against you.

Stay tuned for more stories from my Aegina adventure, and if you're dreaming of a getaway or a new beginning, maybe this little island and my little house can inspire yours too šŸ’™
